In all of our commercial cleaning services we strive to maintain a ‘Cleaner Brisbane’ by using environmentally friendly cleaning supplies, cleaning products and methods that are safe for our clients, cleaners and the environment.

Our motto of “We Clean Green” focuses on the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products and procedures in order to reduce health and environmental concerns. For all services that we perform, we attempt to reduce the amount of chemicals we use without compromising hygiene.

Cleanworks addresses specific methods to minimise the environmental impact of cleaning activities both in and around the site. Management of the environment is planned for each site and addresses client and authority requirements. We ensure our activities comply with all legislative requirements.

Cleanworks Environmentally Friendly Cleaning Products

As per Cleanworks Environmental Policy, we have a genuine commitment to protect the environment and eliminate the environmental impacts of our activities. This is demonstrated by the use of Smart Green Clean Chemicals on all sites. Our Smart Green Clean chemicals are certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA). GECA are a governing body that document evidence and testing of green claims. GECA products are recognised by the Green Building Council of Australia and these cleaning products qualify for use on Green Star Projects.

Waste Management

As with product management, Cleanworks has strict waste management standards that ensure cost effectiveness and a safe environment.

We also encourage clients to be environmentally conscious and suggest:

• Employing strategies to minimise waste, integrating with client activities where possible;
• Collecting and recycling toner and print cartridges;
• Paper recycling to minimise waste; and
• Encourage the purchase of recycled hand and toilet paper.
